YUME Devrambling #1 3/21/22
Hey, ladies, gents, mentally ill people, and mentally ill NONpeople!
I just wanna kinda talk for a bit about my thoughts on my own game, so here goes nothing?
My biggest problem is the lack of unique overworld graphics. I don't really have the motives to make an entire tileset/unique character graphics, but I do try to offset it from the rest of the bunch by manually coloring a good few of the sprites...
YUME's focus isn't 100 percent on visual presentation! That's the point of my other project! I'm still new to this whole "entire game" thing, I don't think I have the skill to make something with proper visual AND mechanical presentation.
... At least I'm not using MV? I hope the lack of cool visuals is made up for by at least being an okay RTP game. It has more intention behind it than you'd think.
I worked on a bit of a cutscene I've been hung up on for a while, and I think it's done, I just have to make sure I don't need to tweak anything-- and then it's onto the game's second dungeon!
... Second, yeah, things are kind of slow -- I don't have a set release date for the whole game, but I hope it's not RIDICULOUSLY far. Regardless, I'll let you go!
I thank you. YUME thanks you. ^-^
